We hope you all enjoyed the Bank Holiday sunshine! ☀️ Here at Tansley Transport & Removals, we’ve hit the ground running with another busy week, starting with a familiar face, a repeat client house move.
On Monday, we reunited with our lovely repeat client Pamela for phase one of her staggered move out of storage. You might remember her from last year when we helped her pack and relocate from the largest house in the village of Winster to a stunning new bungalow in Bakewell.
As part of her downsize, many of Pamela’s belongings were stored securely in a 100 sq ft unit at Matlock Storage, giving her flexibility while her new home underwent renovations. Now that her renovation is almost complete—thanks to the talented team at Goodwins Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms in Wirksworth—it was time to retrieve her summer essentials.
What We Moved This Time
We carefully reloaded selected items from storage into ‘Max’ (our trusty moving vehicle!) and delivered:

Wardrobe boxes

Cabinets
-
A large number of boxed personal belongings
Pamela’s mirrors, artwork, and final pieces of large furniture will follow in phase two this June, once her space is fully ready.
As always, it was a pleasure to catch up with Pamela over a cuppa, thank you for trusting us once again!
A Busy Day for the Team
Following that, our father-and-son team carried out a smaller move in the morning before heading off on four Pre-Move Visits across Buxton, Sheffield, Ashbourne, and Matlock. These visits help us plan each move in detail and give clients complete confidence in the process ahead.
